Neolamprologus Leleupi

Neolamprologus Leleupi is one of the most colorful Lake Tanganyika Cichlids. This hardy fish averages 3″- 4″ in size & is a great fish if you want to get into breeding African Cichlids. They are easily kept in freshwater 72-86F, PH 7.2-8.6. I Recommend no PH adjust if your tap is within the specs., acclimate Leleupi to your dechlorinated tap water. Leleupi do well on a high protein diet, live black worms, frozen brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, CaliforniaCichlids color enhancing pellets or protein crumble. Newly hatched leleupi fry / Neolamprologus fry in general should be provided live baby brine shrimp, freshly hatched for best growth & survival rates. Leleupi breed in pairs, trios can also be formed and are egg layers in a cave or rock crevice. CaliforniaCichlids offers many caves for breeding exotic freshwater aquarium fish.
